- Addresses international political economy and how we can understand the phenomenon of globalization.
- Offers a graduate-level introduction to the interaction between international politics and international economics in both industrial countries and developing countries.
- Introduces several theoretical approaches to international political economy and analyzes some of the classic issue areas of international trade relations, such as the international monetary and financial system; foreign direct investment and multinational corporations, debt, and development; the role of international political, economic, and financial institutions; and globalization.
