- Allows students to further hone their content knowledge and clinical skills either in the area of primary care or in a selected subspecialty area of medicine.
- Offers students an opportunity to develop skills related to both the initial assessment, as well as the ongoing management of patients with established diagnoses, while working to develop their clinical reasoning skills given initial presentations.
