- Focuses on singing techniques used in pop, rock, and jazz.
- Techniques taught, discussed, and applied in class include breathing, tone and vowel production, singing with power without strain, developing range, improvising, and creating one's own style.
- Offers students an opportunity to apply these techniques in class, learning through vocal demonstrations in class and through the study of recordings.
- Singers/songwriters are encouraged to enroll.
- All levels of singers are welcome; students who enroll should already have the ability to sing generally in tune.
