CAEP 1290: Personal Behavior Change
Lecture - 4 credits
- Designed to help students to develop an awareness of and strategies for the management of their behaviors.
- Examines how behavior is influenced via operant and respondent conditioning, motivating variables, and reinforcement and punishment.
- Requires students to design and implement a self-management project that involves goal setting, measuring behavior, selecting and implementing an intervention based on the research, and monitoring and evaluating progress.
- Offers students an opportunity to develop skills to support their goals, including time management and effective communication.
